Larry Darby: Alabama Hero

Like Wheeler at Alablawg, I figured that 162,999 of Larry Darby's votes came from folks that had no idea what he stands for.

As bad as that is, it's not as bad as this comment from a reader at Concurring Opinions:

I voted for Mr. Darby. Despite the various attempts to explain away his remarkable achievement, the fact remains that he was the only candidate who offered solutions to serious problems. The independent minded Democratic voters saw through the Jewish-Marxist claptrap of the major newspapers and the corrupt Democratic party leadership, all of whom worked right up to election night to dissuade voters from voting for Darby's pro-Alabama platform. His campaign was not about the "holyhoax", that was an issue invented by the Jewish Associated Press.

I have tried to intellectually analyze this comment for about twenty minutes, now...and here's what I've come up with: holy freakin' crap.

i saw that comment on cc, also. i had to read it several times. cc just does not seem like the type of site that type of commentator frequents.

Yes, it certainly seems like such a person wouldn't be a regular CC follower.

Whenever the Echelon-esque filter in my brain picks out a reference to a Jewish conspiracy and a Communist threat, I know I'm dealing with a winner. The only thing that could have made this better would have been the term "Zionist."

She's made an appearance at the Alablawg...so give her time, and she might whip Zionist out before it's all over :)
